Problem Identification


Sanctuary was incubated by Broadway Video Ventures, the digital media and investment arm of Broadway Video (known for Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon). They acquired a blog with hundreds of thousands of subscribers and years of content on astrology, tarot, and magic. Recognizing the multibillion-dollar potential in the millennial market, our CEO saw an opportunity to develop a new product that would deliver modern magical experiences to a wider audience in a more user-friendly manner.



Research and User Personas

Our research revealed that our millennial target audience was highly active on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. However, existing digital offerings for astrology and tarot were fragmented and not engaging enough. We identified a need for a cohesive, interactive product that met users on their preferred platforms, providing a personalized and enriching experience. As well as a quick to market offering.

I decided to leveraged Facebook developer tools to create an engaging user experience - and a quick to market initial product offering



Chatbot User Flow

We decided to make the Sanctuary product a chatbot to enhance user engagement, providing 24/7 access to personalized astrology and tarot insights, educational resources, and a supportive community. It streamlines complex concepts, aids professional practitioners, and scales efficiently. The data collected from user interactions informs ongoing improvements, making astrology and tarot more accessible and user-centric.


Branding

Website

Using a dedicated website for marketing and hosting the product on Facebook combines the strengths of both platforms. The website acts as a marketing hub, while Facebook's vast user base and sharing capabilities maximize product visibility and accessibility.




Chatbot Design

Designing the chatbot to do everything a web app can and more. It offers personalization, 24/7 availability, and seamless integration with messaging platforms. Its conversational interface, efficiency, and proactive engagement make it a valuable tool for enhancing the users experience and engagement.




Social Marketing

Using social marketing to leverage the power of social media and online communities to promote and gain product adoption through content, targeted ads, and user referrals.
